Some of our ladies pointed out to me that I had scheduled the time for the Walborn fellowship too tightly against our worship service. I didn’t leave time for people to run home and change if they wanted to, or to get their food dishes ready. SO… Let’s revise the time. Don’t forget our July campfire fellowship will be different this year – we’re holding it at Walborn State Park (11324 Price St NE, Alliance, OH 44601) on this coming Sunday. Friend Day at Friendship
Somebody has declared that August 4th is National Friends Day. That sounds like a good thing for us to take part in here at FRIENDship Bible Church! The youth will sponsor hot dog lunches (to go) including chips and drink for everyone following the morning service. The youth will also participate in much of the service. Bring your FRIENDS for FRIEND day! There will be a really cool prize for the person who brings the most 1st time visitors.
10th Anniversary Celebration
We’ve been thanking the Lord all this month for 10 wonderful years together as Friendship Bible Church. We’ll wrap it all up on July 28th with our 10th Anniversary Celebration at Walborn Reservoir. The day will start with our normal worship service at 9:30 (at the church), and then those who want to participate in the days events at Walborn can just head there after church. What a great prophecy conference we just enjoyed! Praise God for raising up men like Dr. Jimmy DeYoung!
