Weekend Happenings!
There is some great stuff happening this weekend: Saturday at 8:00 AM. Great food, good fellowship, and a time of Bible and prayer. What’s not to love about prayer breakfasts? Final one of the year – Saturday at 6:30 PM. Corn hole tournament, and the usual array of games and fun. Bring your corn hole boards if you have them, and something to share food-wise, and your favorite board or card games. Let’s make this last one…

A Quiet Week
On this week between the holidays, we’ll be taking a break from a couple of things. Men’s Bible Study for this Tuesday is cancelled, as is the Wednesday Prayer Meeting. Enjoy the week of recovery from Christmas and anticipation of the New Year!
THE BEST SATURDAY OF THE MONTH IS HERE!
Well, at least the best for the guys who attend Men’s Prayer Breakfasts! That’s right… it’s tomorrow, October 22nd, at 8:00AM in the new building. Food, Fun, Fellowship, and Feasting on God’s Word. Believe me, if you’ve not attended one before, you don’t want to miss it. And if you have attended it before, I know you’re adding an AMEN to what I just said. Come early and get a seat!
They Ate!
So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, (Acts 2:46 NKJV) That was the early church, and guess what? We will follow in their footsteps Saturday (April 23rd at 8AM) as we gather for Men’s Prayer Breakfast! Guys, this is not something you’ll want to miss – join us for great food and fellowship. Bring your Bibles and prayer requests, too, for…

More Sweat Equity Opportunity!
Calling able bodied men! We have a need for some high work. This Thursday, we need to do some cutting of the styrofoam where the trusses will attach. This will involve working about 18′ in the air. So I’m asking for help in two ways: Anybody have access to scaffolding which will allow us to reach that height? If so, please reply a.s.a.p. We will rent if need be. We need some men willing to climb that scaffolding and work…

Calling Every Man
Don’t forget, Brothers! Men’s Bible Study meets this evening at 6:30 in the church conference room. Bring a Bible and a heart for the Lord!

It’s A Man’s Week!

Colossal Happenings!
Huge… enormous… immense… prodigious… gigantic… gargantuan… mammoth… cosmic! Those are a few words to describe some of the good stuff happening here at FBC over the next couple months. This Saturday we are restarting our Men’s Prayer Breakfasts! Having gone without these wonderful events for a year now, that is huge news indeed. Of course, we’re taking it slow and safe, so we’re limiting attendance to only 20. If you were one of those who managed to get on the…

A Slight Change Of Plans
Church Family, I had to put my father in the hospital on Sunday evening. He had basically lost the use of his legs, and couldn’t stand. Tests so far have determined that his kidneys are failing, and this may have been the cause of his problem. As is routine at hospitals now, I guess, they performed a COVID test and found that he was positive for that, as well. And, since I was with him most of Sunday afternoon and…
