A Quiet Week
On this week between the holidays, we’ll be taking a break from a couple of things. Men’s Bible Study for this Tuesday is cancelled, as is the Wednesday Prayer Meeting. Enjoy the week of recovery from Christmas and anticipation of the New Year!
THE BEST SATURDAY OF THE MONTH IS HERE!
Well, at least the best for the guys who attend Men’s Prayer Breakfasts! That’s right… it’s tomorrow, October 22nd, at 8:00AM in the new building. Food, Fun, Fellowship, and Feasting on God’s Word. Believe me, if you’ve not attended one before, you don’t want to miss it. And if you have attended it before, I know you’re adding an AMEN to what I just said. Come early and get a seat!

More Sweat Equity Opportunity!
Calling able bodied men! We have a need for some high work. This Thursday, we need to do some cutting of the styrofoam where the trusses will attach. This will involve working about 18′ in the air. So I’m asking for help in two ways: Anybody have access to scaffolding which will allow us to reach that height? If so, please reply a.s.a.p. We will rent if need be. A Slight Change Of Plans
Church Family, I had to put my father in the hospital on Sunday evening. He had basically lost the use of his legs, and couldn’t stand. Tests so far have determined that his kidneys are failing, and this may have been the cause of his problem. Meals and Missionaries!
It’s MEN’S PRAYER BREAKFAST TIME!!! Men, you won’t want to miss this wonderful event, Saturday at 8:00. It’s hard to say what is more valuable – the food, the friendships, or the time in the Word and prayer. And this Sunday, we have our missionary partner Teena Embaugh joining us in both the Sunday School and morning worship hours. You’ll rejoice when you hear what is accomplished with your missions giving!

Yes… that’s right. The date we men have been waiting for all summer is finally upon us! This coming Saturday morning at 8:00, we shall once again rejoice to attend Men’s Prayer Breakfast! Not only is the food to die for, the fellowship, prayer, sharing, testimonies, and short message from God’s Word are awesome, too. Join us at 8:00. Bring your Bible. Bring a hearty appetite. CHICKS, that’s what! Guest speaker tonight talking about essential oils… food theme is Mexican… continuing the study in Nehemiah. Bring new or gently used adult sized ladies clothing to donate to Rahab ministries. and MENS’ BIBLE STUDY.
