R.O.N.O.P.A.A.T. – Have you signed up yet?

Dear FBC Family, We recently began a program that the Lord has laid heavily on my heart – R.O.N.O.P.A.A.T. – Reaching Our Neighbors One Prayer At A Time. You may remember some years ago we had R.R.O.D.A.A.T. which was Reaching Randolph One DOOR At A Time. We managed to cover a good portion of Randolph in that effort, but participation was minimal and we eventually put that program to rest. However, I recently became aware of a way that we…

Peace Has Come!

You know what this coming Saturday is? Well let me tell you, it’s not something you’ll want to miss. This Saturday, December 4th, at 6:30 PM the FBC Praise Team, Praise Band, and Choir will share this year’s Christmas cantata entitled “Peace Has Come!” The music is beautiful and the message is wonderful. Please consider joining us on Saturday, which will be your only opportunity to participate in the cantata this year, as we’ll only present it one time. And…

Christmas Time is Here!

Well… at least it will be this Saturday. Here at FBC we always hang the greens on the Saturday following Thanksgiving. This year is no different. The building project impacts what we can do a bit, but we’re going to decorate as much as we can. Will you join us at 10AM on Saturday? We’ll have refreshments and plenty of coffee, as usual. We have 2 CIA projects going at the same time on Saturday, so some of those who…

Weekend Happenings – November 20-21

Saturday morning at 10:00AM, we will be assembling and delivering Thanksgiving baskets to some who need them. We need some to pack the boxes and we need some to deliver them. Please give of your morning and participate if at all possible. Just meet us in Fellowship Hall. ALSO, Saturday morning we need to empty the trailer (just has some chairs in it) and move the Operation Christmas Child boxes into it. If a few will volunteer for this task,…

Let’s Pack!

Amazingly, it’s already here! Time to pack the Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes, that is. You can join us this Saturday (November 13th) at 10:00 AM for our annual packing party. This year we have a goal of 600 boxes and if we get a good crowd of people, we’ll have that done in no time, and no doubt exceed the goal. Everything is provided, as you’ll see in the pictures below. All you need to do is come and grab…

Full Speed Ahead!

Concrete floors are poured… sewer and rough plumbing and rough electrical is done, inspected and approved… trusses are coming and the framers will be onsite on Monday the 22nd to set the trusses and get the roof completed. All glory to God! He has done (and continues to do) great things!

Thanksgiving Boxes for Those in Need

On Saturday, November 20th at 10 AM we will pack and deliver 15-20 Thanksgiving boxes for members of our congregation and community. If you would like to help, we need food donations. Take a look at this sheet, and if you can provide any of the items that are currently not covered, please bring those items to the church by November 14th. Notice that we need specific quantities of each item, so try and provide that quantity. And please stick…

More Sweat Equity Opportunity!

Calling able bodied men! We have a need for some high work. This Thursday, we need to do some cutting of the styrofoam where the trusses will attach. This will involve working about 18′ in the air. So I’m asking for help in two ways: Anybody have access to scaffolding which will allow us to reach that height? If so, please reply a.s.a.p. We will rent if need be. We need some men willing to climb that scaffolding and work…
