R.O.N.O.P.A.A.T. – Have you signed up yet?

Dear FBC Family, We recently began a program that the Lord has laid heavily on my heart – R.O.N.O.P.A.A.T. – Reaching Our Neighbors One Prayer At A Time. You may remember some years ago we had R.R.O.D.A.A.T. which was Reaching Randolph One DOOR At A Time. We managed to cover a good portion of Randolph in that effort, but participation was minimal and we eventually put that program to rest. However, I recently became aware of a way that we…

Whatchawanna Ask?

It’s the last Wednesday of the month, when we give a portion of prayer meeting time over to Q&A. The elders will do their best to bring the Bible to bear on whatever questions you have – questions about the faith… about the Bible… about practicing Christianity in this lost world… about world events. If you can think of the question, we’ll do our best to answer from Scripture. So bring your questions this evening, and join us for the…

And you’ll have the joy of knowing you helped beautify the Lord’s house for His birthday celebration.

Week of Thankfulness

It’s Thanksgiving week, and I hope and pray all reading this truly rejoice in all God has done and does do and will do in the future. Paul’s words to the Thessalonians ought be on all our hearts and minds as we navigate this week, “In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you” (1 Thessalonians 5:18). There are a couple changes and additions to our weekly schedule due to Thanksgiving: No prayer…

All Systems Go!

Campfire Fellowship (last one of the year) is tomorrow at the Weber’s, from 4:30 until the cows come home. It will be held rain or shine. Right now the rain is supposed to end in the morning tomorrow, so we should be good. Remember the Campfire Fellowship Drill – bring a chair on which to sit yourself, and a side dish to share. Bring also a desire for fun, fellowship and food. Follow that drill and you’ll have a great…

What would you do to save a child? Were you to notice a lost child, would you stop to help? What about a child in a dangerous situation? Would you intervene? Well, believe it or not, you can do that very thing by participating in Operation Christmas Child. Every shoebox packed and shipped and placed in the hands of a child is an opportunity to reach that child for Jesus. When you pray for OCC, give, pack boxes, or help…
