To Save a Child
What would you do to save a child? Were you to notice a lost child, would you stop to help? What about a child in a dangerous situation? Would you intervene? Well, believe it or not, you can do that very thing by participating in Operation Christmas Child. Every shoebox packed and shipped and placed in the hands of a child is an opportunity to reach that child for Jesus. When you pray for OCC, give, pack boxes, or help…

VBS DAY 1
A record breaking day for the start of VBS 2023! Thanks to all who are working hard at this. Keep praying that little hearts and minds are touched by a big God and Savior!
TIME TO PACK!
This year’s Operation Christmas Child packing party is TOMORROW, Saturday, November 12th, starting at 10AM. Our goal this year is to pack at least 750 boxes, and we’re actually hoping to top 1000. Join us at 10. This is a wonderful ministry for all ages, from the smallest child to the oldest senior. All can be involved and get in on the rewards of sending a box of gifts, the most important of which is the gift of salvation, to…

LAST CHANCE!
Tomorrow, Saturday, October 23rd, at 4:30 PM, will be your last chance to enjoy a campfire fellowship with your brothers and sisters from FBC! We will meet at the Weber home for this final outing. Their address is 2555 Hartville Road, Rootstown. Bring a dish to pass if you wish. And bring a lawn chair to pull up to the fire, should you want to do that. Matt assures me that they are loaded up on brisket, pulled pork, turkey…
September Is Here!
Greetings my Brothers and Sisters and friends. I want to share some information that may be of use to you for this first weekend in September. THIS SUNDAY, Jr. Church will begin afresh at FBC. The kids will have their own service in Fellowship Hall during the 10:30 service, so if you want to participate in Jr. Church, you’ll need to plan on that 2nd service, and not the 9:00 service. When you arrive, take the kids directly to Fellowship…
Autumn Approaches!
I’m really looking forward to autumn this year. September is always a big month for our church, and this year will be no different. September 6th, during the 10:30 service Junior Church will be restarting. Parents, if you’ve been hesitant to return to worship because of a lack of the children’s offerings, the 6th will be your day! Bring them to the 10:30 service and they will have their own service in Fellowship Hall. If you would like to help…

Food Distribution Update
Those who wish to help with the distribution of food to the children of Waterloo, don’t forget to meet at the church tomorrow (Tuesday) about 10:30. Food and routes should be available about that time for those who wish to drive and make deliveries. Those wanting to distribute food from the church will do so from 11-12PM. The same schedule will be in place for Friday. And thank you in advance, all you who are willing so serve the community…

Food Distribution for School Kids
Just a quick update about the effort to provide lunches for school kids during the school closure. Here is the most recent plan, and the one we will be utilizing going forward: Tuesdays and Fridays there will be food bags delivered to the church by 10:00 AM. We will need a few people (don’t need a lot, just a few) to distribute these bags in two ways: From 11-12 we will be open for people to come to the church…
Friend Day at Friendship
Somebody has declared that August 4th is National Friends Day. That sounds like a good thing for us to take part in here at FRIENDship Bible Church! The youth will sponsor hot dog lunches (to go) including chips and drink for everyone following the morning service. The youth will also participate in much of the service. Bring your FRIENDS for FRIEND day! There will be a really cool prize for the person who brings the most 1st time visitors.
