Don’t forget our July campfire fellowship will be different this year – we’re holding it at Walborn State Park (11324 Price St NE, Alliance, OH 44601) on this coming Sunday. Here are some pics of Walborn State Park.
The day will go like this:
Worship Service at the church at 9:30. This is our normal Lord’s Day worship, so you won’t want to miss this part. It’s the most important part of the day!
Meet and eat at Walborn at 11:30ish. Our grill meister will have the dogs and burgers ready about 11:30. The rest of us can plan on either heading straight from church, or heading home to change and then meeting at the park.
Bring a dish to pass (just like you would with any of our campfire fellowships).
We have the pavilion reserved, so there is no need to bring lawn chairs.
There is no program once we get to Walborn. We’ll pray, eat, and then you’re on your own to enjoy the day with your FBC brothers and sisters. The park provides fishing (you’ll need a fishing license), canoe and kayak rentals, a boat ramp, and hiking and horseback riding trails.
