LAST CHANCE!

Tomorrow, Saturday, October 23rd, at 4:30 PM, will be your last chance to enjoy a campfire fellowship with your brothers and sisters from FBC! We will meet at the Weber home for this final outing. Their address is 2555 Hartville Road, Rootstown. Bring a dish to pass if you wish. And bring a lawn chair to pull up to the fire, should you want to do that. Matt assures me that they are loaded up on brisket, pulled pork, turkey…

Tuesday Happenings

We have a couple nice opportunities on Tuesday this week (October 5th). For the young adults – Dinner at the Whitely home at 6:00 PM. This is for all college / career age adults. You’ll be well fed! And you’ll get some good fellowship with other believers who are on the same part of life’s journey as you. For all ages – OCC Assembly Time in Fellowship Hall at 6:30 PM. Some of the gifts we will be placing in…

Weekend Update

If you haven’t seen what’s happening behind the church, you ought to stop by. The walls they be a rising! Oh the things God might do with this new facility. Please bathe it in prayer, and keep it ever before you. This weekend, in addition to the normal wonderful worship service at 9:30, we look forward to another campfire fellowship – this time at the home of John and Jamie Evans. They live on New Milford Rd. right near the…

RAIN DATE

Since we got “rained out” last Saturday, we’ll try again for the Campfire Fellowship this Sunday afternoon from 5-9 at JohnsonAcres. As always, bring a chair, and if you’re able a dish to pass. I’ll have the grill going and there will be plenty to drink. Fishing rods might be a good accessory, too! Come and enjoy some time with the church family!

A Few Reminders and Clarifications for the Weekend:

Saturday at 8:00 AM – Men’s Prayer Breakfast in Fellowship Hall. There was some confusion as we had to change the date this month, but it’s ON. Bring your appetite and your Bible and let’s engage in a little iron sharpening. Saturday at 5:00 PM – Campfire Fellowship at Johnson Acres. Bring a chair on which to rest your backside, and a dish to pass. Bring your fishing pole if you want to fish. Meat and drink will already be…

Fellowships and Surveys

Two important things to bear in mind as we enter the weekend: This Saturday from 3-5PM, those who purchased pepperoni rolls in support of Operation Christmas Child may pick them up at the church. Then starting at 5PM, the last outdoor fellowship of the year, the Fall Family Fellowship, will take place in the area behind the cemetery next to the church. Bring a lawn chair, a dish to pass, and dress warm. We’ll roast weenies, have some games for…

Autumn Approaches!

I’m really looking forward to autumn this year. September is always a big month for our church, and this year will be no different. September 6th, during the 10:30 service Junior Church will be restarting. Parents, if you’ve been hesitant to return to worship because of a lack of the children’s offerings, the 6th will be your day! Bring them to the 10:30 service and they will have their own service in Fellowship Hall. If you would like to help…

Who Wants to Ride?

If the weather forecast doesn’t change, Saturday looks to be a nice day to drag out the motorcycles and ride. Join us at 2:00 on the 20th? Bring a little cash for food, as we’ll stop to grab something on the way back. We’ll observe the requisite social distancing rules, so this should be a nice safe way to fellowship with your brothers and sisters. See you Saturday!
