Here It Is!!! Last Chance!!!
The last prayer meeting of 2020 is upon us this evening. I hope you’ll join us. I’m going to share a few thoughts about 2021, and what will be important going into the new year. And of course we’ll pray for one another… for our world… for the growth of the Kingdom… for souls… for health… for peace… for our land… for you. Much to pray about. Will you join us? It’s your last chance to do so this year!…

See you at 6:30 as we pray together… for one another… for our nation… for our leaders… for our world… for our needy… for so much that we need to be praying for!
The Serenity Prayer
The 18th century theologian Reinhold Neibuhr is thought to be the actual author of what we often call The Serenity Prayer. Niebuhr was a major influence on the German Pastor and Nazi resister, Dietrich Bonhoeffer. The version of the prayer we usually see is this: God, grant me the Serenity To accept the things I cannot change… Courage to change the things I can, And Wisdom to know the difference. But the original and full version is better. Perhaps you…

You can view it hereĀ either before or during the prayer meeting time. Here is the prayer list for tonight, starting…

Praying Down Thunderbolts
Ever wanted to do that? Things are going on in our nation today that cause many to think that way. Is it right? How should we pray when we perceive terrible evil seeming to get away unscathed? How do we pray for it’s victims? How do we pray for those who perpetrate it? Join us for prayer meeting this evening at 6:30 as we look at what the Bible says about “praying down thunder” on enemies.
Fireproof!
Last Wednesday we were supposed to talk about the Fireproof scroll, but due to a last minute conflict, had to change our plan. So let’s talk about it tonight in prayer meeting! Join us at 6:30 for fellowship, God’s precious Word, and a short time of prayer for one another. Has there ever been a time when we needed Christians praying more than now?
