Summer is really here at FBC when we start our campfire fellowships, and the first one is this Saturday, June 24th, at 5PM, at Johnson Acres.
Here’s what you need to know:
- Bring a dish to pass if you are able. If you can’t do that, please don’t let it stop you from coming. We will have burgers and dogs on the grill, and there is always PLENTY of side dishes, so come anyway.
- Bring a lawn chair to sit on. We’ll have a few chairs and tables, but never enough, so bring something to rest your backside on.
- Bring fishing stuff if you want to fish in the pond.
- Bring corn hole boards and bags if you have them. We’ll have the horseshoe pit running, but some prefer corn hole, so bring it if you’ve got it.
- We’ll start eating just after 5, and the shindig will last until 9.
If you’ve not come to one of the campfire fellowships before, I heartily encourage you to give it a try. These gatherings are a great way for you to meet the church family when they’ve got their hair down!
See you Saturday at 5!
