Summertime Fellowship!
This Lord’s Day, immediately following our worship service, we will head to Walborn State Park for burgers and dogs and fun. We’ll meet at the park at noon. Bring a dish to pass if you wish, and a chair on which to sit. Lots of food. Lots of good Christian friends. And lots of things to do at the park. We had such a blast at the January game night that we’re doing it again! Join us this evening if you want to have some fun. RAIN DATE
Since we got “rained out” last Saturday, we’ll try again for the Campfire Fellowship this Sunday afternoon from 5-9 at JohnsonAcres. As always, bring a chair, and if you’re able a dish to pass. I’ll have the grill going and there will be plenty to drink. Fishing rods might be a good accessory, too! Come and enjoy some time with the church family!
Autumn Approaches!
I’m really looking forward to autumn this year. September is always a big month for our church, and this year will be no different. September 6th, during the 10:30 service Junior Church will be restarting. Parents, if you’ve been hesitant to return to worship because of a lack of the children’s offerings, the 6th will be your day! Bring them to the 10:30 service and they will have their own service in Fellowship Hall. If you would like to help…
Who Wants to Ride?
If the weather forecast doesn’t change, Saturday looks to be a nice day to drag out the motorcycles and ride. Join us at 2:00 on the 20th? Bring a little cash for food, as we’ll stop to grab something on the way back. We’ll observe the requisite social distancing rules, so this should be a nice safe way to fellowship with your brothers and sisters. See you Saturday!
A Red Weekend
Are you ready for this weekend? It’s going to be a big one here at FBC! Saturday morning is a clean up day. Meet at the church at 9:30, for cleaning of tables/ chairs,. nursery, kitchen and storage. Walborn Celebration – TIME
Some of our ladies pointed out to me that I had scheduled the time for the Walborn fellowship too tightly against our worship service. I didn’t leave time for people to run home and change if they wanted to, or to get their food dishes ready. SO… Let’s revise the time.
