New Books, Assembly Days, Etc.

The pastor’s latest book is out and available on Amazon. com. It contains 433 pages of his thoughts on the gospel of Mark. There are a limited number of copies available through the church for his cost ($7.50). Operation Christmas Child activities are in full swing this week and throughout November. First Time!

Last Sunday we baptized. This coming Sunday, guess what? We’re baptizing again. That’s the first time we’ve baptized two Sundays in a row. Praise the Lord. That’s not all that’s happening this weekend, of course: Saturday at 8:00 AM – Men’s Prayer breakfast in Fellowship Hall. No man in his right mind would miss this! Lord’s Day Happenings

This Lord’s Day is a big one. It all starts with Sunday School at 9:30. Our worship service follows at 10:30, but it’s going to be a special one. We’ve got several who will be following the Lord in believer’s baptism at the conclusion of the service! We might have a baby dedication to boot! Are You Ready for the Weekend?

A ton of stuff is happening this weekend! Saturday, 4:00 PM, Trunk or Treat at the church for our children, grandchildren and friends. Decorate your vehicle / trunk, bring a bunch of treats, and come share with the kids. Plan to come earlier than 4, so your vehicle is decorated and ready to go by 4:00!
