Bible Talk With the Elders – The Sky’s the Limit

Well, I asked for it, and I certainly got it! I asked for you to submit any questions you might have about the faith, or about anything, really. And you complied. We have a large stack of questions, and the panel will dive into them starting this Wednesday evening. The pastors and elders will do their best to answer, and if you want to join in that discussion, please attend – Wednesday, September 29th at 6:30 PM. We will begin…

Onward!

Hard Hat Sunday is behind us, and we are full speed ahead with things here at FBC. The kids’ ministries are in full swing – Parents, bring your kids back to church! The building continues to go up, with the second pour of concrete expected on Monday. Pray for that to go well, and for the building to be under roof soon! This Saturday, the John and Jamie Evans will be hosting a time of fellowship and gospel music at…

PENULTIMATE!

That’s one of my favorite words. “Penultimate” means “last but one in a series of things”; “next to the last”. It’s a particularly appropriate word for our weekend update, for this Saturday we will celebrate our PENULTIMATE campfire fellowship. Mike and Vickie Mullaly will be hosting at their home between 5-9PM. Their address is 1147 Shenk Rd., Mogadore. They live at the very end of Shenk Rd. Bring a dish to share if you’re able, and a chair on which…

What Are We Building?

The building behind the sanctuary continues to rise. Significant progress is planned for this week, and it should be exciting. Very soon now, we will be making big changes to the sanctuary, and before you know it, the new building will be done and in use! Praise the Lord. This Sunday, in celebration of these things, and as a reminder of the tasks that lie ahead, we will hold “HARD HAT SUNDAY.” Souvenir hard hats will be on hand as…

FULL SPEED AHEAD!

Are you as excited about this coming Lord’s Day as I am? This Sunday, September 5th, we return to our normal schedule. Sunday School starts at 9:30 and the morning worship moves back to it’s normal 10:30 time slot. I’m so looking forward to what the Lord will do with our kids ministries, and with the adult classes. It’s gonna be good! The new building is rising at full speed behind the church, and the building of disciples for Jesus…
