It’s Thanksgiving week, and I hope and pray all reading this truly rejoice in all God has done and does do and will do in the future. Paul’s words to the Thessalonians ought be on all our hearts and minds as we navigate this week, “In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you” (1 Thessalonians 5:18).
There are a couple changes and additions to our weekly schedule due to Thanksgiving:
- No prayer meeting Wednesday evening.
- No Trail Life or American Heritage Girls meetings on Thursday.
- HANGING OF THE GREENS Saturday morning at 9AM. Join us for this. Last year we only had a couple show up, but if a half dozen or so help, it is easy and done quickly. Let’s make the Lord’s house beautiful for Christmas!
Oh, and if you didn’t hear, the final tally for Operation Christmas Child boxes this year was 2633. They’ve been packed with care, and shipped off. Now we pray!
