The Lord’s Day – Plans for March 29, 2020
For those following our in-home worship outlines, here is the service for this week. Let us all try and participate together, whether we are with others in our family, or alone. Even alone, you can follow this outline and worship along with the rest of the church family. Suggested outline for this week: Meet at 10:30 on Sunday morning. Keep your appointment. Go around the family and share personal prayer requests. Especially explore any requests related to what is causing…
Food Distribution Plans – 3/27/2020
We have a good problem – too many people showing up to help with this service! So I’d like to split into two teams, one for the Friday distribution and one for the Tuesday distribution. I’ve asked the Methodist Church to do the same, so we should be better able to have opportunity for all who are present to serve. SO… please email or text me and let me know whether you would prefer to work on Tuesday or Friday…
Food Distribution Update
Those who wish to help with the distribution of food to the children of Waterloo, don’t forget to meet at the church tomorrow (Tuesday) about 10:30. Food and routes should be available about that time for those who wish to drive and make deliveries. Those wanting to distribute food from the church will do so from 11-12PM. The same schedule will be in place for Friday. And thank you in advance, all you who are willing so serve the community…
The Lord’s Day! Family Worship Plans
We’re going to be different from some other churches in how we address our services. We’re going to hold church in our homes, in our families, with fathers and mothers leading their own families in worship. Please try and follow this brief outline when you gather your family together Sunday morning at 10:30. It will be explained in more detail in this video, but it would work best if you don’t watch the video until you’ve tried to get through…
Leftover Food!
Good afternoon, Church Family, Thanks to all who helped deliver food this morning, and hung around to distribute food to those who might show up here. We have a lot of food left over, however, and need to distribute it to anybody and everybody who has need. If you need one of the bags of food, please come to the church and get it. First come first served. If you know of somebody in need, please come to the church…
Video Update for March 18, 2020
Good afternoon, Church Family! You can view the latest video update on the church YouTube channel here. Try and view prior to prayer meeting time this evening (6:30) if you see this by then, for it contains some prayer requests to remember tonight as you pray. In case you can’t view the video for some reason – here are some of those requests: Please pray for Eli Bauer who is aboard ship at sea, with the virus detected on the…
What FBC is Doing About the Coronavirus (part deux)
Dear Church Family, It seems at this point like we have few options except to cancel all remaining activities at FBC through the end of March. All services, meetings, whether on or off site, are cancelled. This includes Linda Egli’s funeral service and meal that was scheduled for Saturday, March 21st. That will be rescheduled sometime in the future. I realize that not everybody will agree with this decision. The elders are not even unanimous on this decision, which reflects…

Out sister Marilyn went home to be with Jesus this morning about 7:00 AM. Please pray for Heather and the family as they deal with her home going.
Midweek Ministry!
Here are two things to keep in mind here at the middle of the week: TONIGHT, Wednesday, at 6:30, we have prayer meeting. Join us, for there is much to pray about! TOMORROW, Thursday, is church wide visitation. You can join us at 10:00 AM or at 6:30 PM, as your schedule allows. There are many who need a visit or a call, and we will pair you up with somebody who will go alongside you. “Two are better than…
