Greetings my Brothers and Sisters and friends.
I want to share some information that may be of use to you for this first weekend in September.
THIS SUNDAY, Jr. Church will begin afresh at FBC. The kids will have their own service in Fellowship Hall during the 10:30 service, so if you want to participate in Jr. Church, you’ll need to plan on that 2nd service, and not the 9:00 service. When you arrive, take the kids directly to Fellowship Hall, for they will be there during the entirety of the worship service.
Wednesday prayer meetings have been well attended lately. PTL! If you haven’t joined us yet, try it this week at 6:30. Nothing fancy or entertaining about prayer meetings. We meet to pray, either silently or aloud together. No pressure, just prayer. And there is never a day we don’t need prayer. There has never been a Christian who didn’t need prayer… who didn’t need to pray… who didn’t need to pray with others! So I encourage your participation.
Next Thursday, September 10th- Men’s Bible Study will meet at the church. Josh Richards will be lead the discussion.
Next Friday – the WoW girls will be enjoying an evening out. Space is limited for this event, so coordinate with Kathy if you haven’t already.
SEPTEMBER 20th – Back to Church Sunday – At the Bauers! Food! Music! Preaching! Fun! And best of all – we’ll all be together under one roof. Plan to dress casual this day, because we will be meeting in a horse arena with a sand covered floor. Invite friends and come BACK TO CHURCH.
OCTOBER 6th – SUNDAY SCHOOL RESTART – Don’t forget to visit the church website at http://www.friendshipbiblechurch.org and take the quick 2 or 3 question survey so we know what classes will be meeting and can plan on the best way to use the available rooms. WE REALLY NEED YOUR HELP WITH THIS, so please complete the survey a.s.a.p. if you haven’t already.
A verse to encourage you today – being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ; (Philippians 1:6 NKJV)
