Then Judah said, “The strength of the laborers is failing, and there is so much rubbish that we are not able to build the wall” (Nehemiah 4:10 NKJV). That second wind comes when we keep praying, keep fighting, and keep looking unto Jesus.
Then she called the name of the LORD who spoke to her, You-Are-the-God-Who-Sees; for she said, “Have I also here seen Him who sees me?” (Genesis 16:13) No matter where you are, or what you’re going through, God sees you.
Now therefore, O LORD our God, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that You are the LORD, You alone.” (Isaiah 37:20 NKJV) Seeking God and His glory in the midst of trial, was key to Hezekiah’s deliverance.
Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:13-14 NKJV). As we run the race for Christ, we need to look forward, not backward, and strain toward the finish line.
