How Operation Christmas Child looks for 2026
This year, we hope to encourage more individuals and families to participate and pack their own boxes. We are offering several options to make that possible. FBC’s goal is to pack 500 boxes reaching children and families with the gospel.
- Take a box(es) from our cross display in the lobby. Each box contains a sheet of acceptable items which could be included in your box whether packing for a boy or a girl.
- Fill out the label for the age and sex you wish to pack.
Option 1 – Build your own
- Purchase items from your choice of stores to fill your box(es). (All items must be new.)
Option 2 – Build a Wow box – from http://www.wowsupplies.com
- Purchase items from WOW Supplies, a Christian owned company that has quality items available for purchase to fill your box(es) plus shipping
OR
- Purchase a ‘Themed Shoebox’ of items ready to put into your own box for around $22 plus some UPSP shipping.
- Include a suggested donation of $10 (checks made out to Samaritan’s Purse) to cover shipping costs, evangelism material and the gospel booklet received with each box. Or pay online to track your box with the QR code on the box label.
- Return the filled box(es) to the church.
Option 3 – Build a shoebox online thru Samaritan’s Purse website

- Check out http://www.samaritanspurse.org and enter ‘Build a shoebox online’ in the search bar. Choose from the items they offer to build a box. The cost is $30 and they will build and ship the box for you.

Option 4 – Purchase items for the Packing Party November 14th

- Purchase larger quantities of pre-selected items from Amazon.com. Click on Registry then find ‘Friendship Bible Church’ Choose available items from the list and have them shipped directly to the church. The registry will remain open until September 26th. These items will be used for our Packing Party at the church on November 14th.

Upcoming OCC events:
Date Night, Girl’s Night Out – Wednesday, August 19th, 6-9 pm Plan a night out and shop for your box(es). If you have children, the youth have volunteered to watch the kids during this time. Make sure you bring your filled box(es) back and pick up your children by 9 pm.
