We are coming to the end in several ways:
It’s Friday – the end of the week and the beginning of the weekend. Praise the Lord it’s almost the Lord’s Day, the best day of the week and the start of a new one. It’s almost December – the end of 2020. Many will say Praise God for that. And the Scripture is clear that we’re in the last minutes. It’s almost the end of everything here as we know it, when Jesus returns, and makes all things right.
Are we ready for each of those “ends”?
As we approach the end of this week, let’s participate in the end of week stuff:
- Saturday, November 28th at 10:00 – Hanging of the Greens. Help us beautiful the Lord’s house for the Christmas season.
- Sunday, November 29th at 8:30, 9:30, and 10:30 – Early worship, Sunday School and Late worship. Join us for one or more as we worship the Lord on the Lord’s Day. BTW – The testimonies that some have shared during November have been wonderful, haven’t they? I still need somebody to share this last week of November. And as we near the end of 2020, let’s praise God for the year, in spite of its troubles and trials. He’s brought us through, and we look forward to what He’s going to do in 2021. Praise for His blessings, and prayers for opportunities in 2021.
Finally, let’s take as many with us as possible as we near the end of this age. Jesus is coming soon… morning or night or noon… many will meet their doom… trumpets will sound! All of the dead will rise… righteous meet in the skies… going where no one dies… Heavenward bound! Are you ready? Are those you love ready? Time’s running out!
