Repair work to the church building continues today. It’s nice to see progress on this latest project related to the building. Keep an eye out, for there is much more to come. If the Lord allows, there will soon be a new church sign, and then a new multipurpose facility! Phase 3 of the building program, Lord willing, is marching on!
But… the church is not the building, is it? The building is just where the local church meets, and so we work to keep the building safe and secure to make it useful to the church.
Renovations on the CHURCH happen in other ways. For example, one primary means is our Wednesday evening prayer meeting. This happens to be Wednesday, and so the church will gather this evening at 6:30 in the church building for renovation. We will pray for one another, for our country, for our leaders, for our families, for our church family, and most of all for ourselves. Where we are falling apart, we will pray for renovation. Where we are broken, we will pray for repair. Where we are hurting or injured or ill, we will pray for healing and wholeness. Where we are feeling run down or tired or out of gas, we will pray for revival and renewal.
You see, today the church building is being renewed on the outside. Tonight, the church will be renewed on the inside. You can be part of that. Join us at 6:30 in the sanctuary. It’s safe, it’s clean, and there’s loads of distancing taking place. Come… be renewed!
