Paul Writes the Philippians
Paul’s introductory thoughts to his letter to the Philippians.
Lost
For the Son of Man has come to save that which was lost (Matthew 18:11 NKJV).
Apart from Jesus all are lost, but Jesus came that none need remain lost.
Trust
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6 NKJV).
You can trust God, ALWAYS.
Obey
For I have been told by the word of the LORD… (1 Kings 13:17a). God takes obedience very seriously.
Follow
My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me (John 10:27 NKJV). Following Christ does not make one a Christian, but following Christ demonstrates one IS a Christian.
