Working Out
Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure (Philippians 2:12-13 NKJV). If God has worked IN us to save us, it will be seen in what comes OUT of us.

Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus… (Philippians 2:5 NKJV). In Christ’s emptying… the kenosis… we have the ultimate example of the singleness of mind Paul was encouraging on the Philippians.

fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind (Philippians 2:2 NKJV).
The single mind is our goal, and will bring joy.
What Are Friends For?
As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend (Proverbs 27:17 NKJV).
