Working Out

Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure (Philippians 2:12-13 NKJV). If God has worked IN us to save us, it will be seen in what comes OUT of us.

fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind (Philippians 2:2 NKJV). The single mind is our goal, and will bring joy.

What Are Friends For?

As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend (Proverbs 27:17 NKJV). The Bible has a lot to say about friendship.

Christ Is Preached – What Joy!

What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is preached; and in this I rejoice, yes, and will rejoice (Philippians 1:18 NKJV). Living with the gospel… the preaching of the gospel… at the center of our lives, brings joy.

Paul Praising and Praying

I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy… (Philippians 1:3-4 NKJV). We experience joy in Christ when we praise Him and when we pray.

Lost

For the Son of Man has come to save that which was lost (Matthew 18:11 NKJV). Apart from Jesus all are lost, but Jesus came that none need remain lost.

Trust

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6 NKJV). You can trust God, ALWAYS.
