National Day of Prayer

Wednesday evening prayer meeting will NOT be held this week, as we will be participating in the National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 7th. That means that the church will be open for you to come and pray as you see fit.

We don’t have a sign up sheet this year as in the past, when we asked you to sign up for a time slot to try and ensure we had people praying throughout the evening. This year, we will just designate the hours of 9-11AM and 6-8PM when the church will be open for you to come and pray. Come during any of those times.

This will be the first service held at the church, since we shut down. It is our prayer and design that everybody remain safe, so please observe these guidelines:

  1. Please only enter through the FRONT DOOR of the building (facing Rt. 44) and only exit through the main door (by the flagpole).
  2. Please abide by the 6 foot social distancing rule, with the only exception being those in your immediate family. There are usually only a handful of people in the sanctuary praying at any time, so spread out. Use the entire room.
  3. No handshakes or hugs.
  4. Masks are at your discretion, but others may appreciate them.
  5. If you’re not feeling well or are showing any symptoms of Covid-19, or believe you are at risk, please do not come.

There is much to pray for this year, as there is every year. Our country needs prayer as never before. So let us pray. Pray hard. Pray for America. Pray for our president and governor and leaders. Pray for peace. Pray for wisdom. Pray for healing. Pray for protection. Pray pray pray pray!

Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. (James 5:16 NKJV)
