Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child

The Amazing Journey of a Simple Shoebox Gift

Begins with You and Results in Evangelism, Discipleship, and Multiplication

After sharing the story of the Good Samaritan, Jesus said “Go and do likewise.” That is the mission of Samaritan’s Purse—to follow the example of Christ by helping those in need and proclaiming the hope of the Gospel.

From children to seniors, people pack shoebox gifts each year to bless children in need around the world. Parents often use the project to teach their kids about giving. Year-round volunteers support these efforts across the country.

Friendship Bible Church participates in this ministry each year by collecting items and packing shoeboxes.  We are also a drop-off site for other area churches and individuals during National Collection Week November 14-21. Below are the dates and times we will be available to receive your shoeboxes.
