Easter, that is. It’s just around the corner, and we are so looking forward to being able to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord together. Here are the plans for Easter:
Saturday, March 27th – Men’s Prayer Breakfast followed by spring clean up day (Rain date for the clean up is Saturday, April 3rd.)
Sunday, March 28th – Palm Sunday – Pastor Phil Ross will be preaching in both services.
Friday, April 2nd – Good Friday – Tuvya Zaretski representing Jews for Jesus will present “Christ in the Passover”
Sunday, April 4th – Resurrection Sunday – We will have two services, but no Sunday School. Stay tuned for the service times, which have yet to be announced.
A couple other things are “just around the corner”.
Saturday, March 6th – Haven of Rest setup and serve. Join the team at 10:00 AM at the Haven of Rest in Akron as they serve the homeless and needy in the community.
GriefShare will be offered again at the end of this month. We are seeking input on dates and times that work best. We are considering either Monday, March 29th or Tuesday, March 30th, and we are open to either morning or evening times. If you have an interest in GriefShare and an opinion about which time works best, please let us know by calling the church office, or by signing up using the church website “Connect” option.
Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University is being offered again starting March 18th. Call the church office or check the website for details.
