Two important things to bear in mind as we enter the weekend:
This Saturday from 3-5PM, those who purchased pepperoni rolls in support of Operation Christmas Child may pick them up at the church. Then starting at 5PM, the last outdoor fellowship of the year, the Fall Family Fellowship, will take place in the area behind the cemetery next to the church. Bring a lawn chair, a dish to pass, and dress warm. We’ll roast weenies, have some games for the kids, and just enjoy one last time around the fire before retreating indoors for winter. Don’t miss this last hurrah of 2020!
This Sunday, not only will be be worshipping and learning and fellowshipping one with another on the Lord’s Day (8:30, 9:40, 10:30), but some will also be enjoying the final round of the Pastor’s Masters at Tannenhauf, followed by the end of season cookout at Tim More’s place. First tee time is 1:00. Even if you’ve not joined us before, here is your final chance to do so in 2020!
And then there’s the Spiritual Life Inventory – the survey that’s occurring right now, and concerning which we need all regular attenders to take part. You can access the survey here. This survey is absolutely vital to the elders’ planning efforts for 2021 and beyond, so please carve out 20 minutes to take the survey. It is anonymous. Just remember, you can’t stop and restart. You’ll need to take the whole survey in one session, so set aside the 20 minutes and go for it!
Of course the fellowship and golf outings are weather dependent. If rain forces us to cancel we will post here and on Facebook.
I hope you’ll join us for some or all of the above this weekend. It’s going to be, as usual, a great weekend at FBC. And remember… remember always…
You have FRIENDS at Friendship Bible Church!
