PRIOR TO watching the video:
- Gather and pray together. Spend some time sharing personal prayer requests and praises together, and then pray. This week, pray especially for the elders as they wrestle with issues they are unfamiliar with in tonight’s elders’ meeting.
- Read John 20:24-31 together and talk about it. Here are a few questions to talk through from that passage, before watching the video: “How was Thomas like many people today?” “Can you relate to Thomas? Why or why not?” “In verses 26-27 Jesus performed two interesting miracles. What were they? What do they tell you about our Savior?” “What does verse 29 say that is an encouragement to believers today” “Why did John say he wrote the gospel of John?”
